Our mission is to bring beautiful items, piece by piece into homes everywhere.
Primary items are decorative pillows of all types, styles, shapes & colors. However, S&S:A is not limited to only pillows. Our product line can be as open and imaginative as the imagination allows. Fashion bags, table runners and mats, curtain panels, and tapestry are just a few of the items where S&S:A can make a beautiful impression.

Patti Bourland, Founder
A native Texan with a penchant for sewing since the age of 6, Patti lives just outside of Austin, Texas in the beautiful hill country surrounding Lake Travis. It is here that she derives inspiration for her amazing pillows and other unique homewear pieces.
Patti's affinity for embroidery and sewing started with making Barbie doll clothes when she was a child. It wasn't long after that she began clothing construction, upholstery and sewing items for the home.
Her interests in science, art and a love of geometric design led her to a career as a Geological Technician, but her favorite time have been spent with the sewing machine creating something beautiful with fabric and thread. Many of her ideas are the product of her geology background and constructing the fine details that make a design special. She particularly loves to use stones, glass beads, & metal in many of her creations.
